Working towards full Academic Accreditation

Antiochian House of Studies working towards full Academic Accreditation

March 25, 2022 – The Great Feast of the Annunciation

The Antiochian House of Studies (AHOS) is a graduate program of Theology, initially established as the Saint Stephens Program in 1980, which has since grown to become known as the Antiochian House of Studies, now offering five graduate degree programs.

On March 13 and 14, 2022 The Association of Theological Schools(ATS) through the efforts of their board of evaluators, conducted a site visit of the Campus of the Antiochian House of Studies in La Verne CA, and from March 21 through 24, 2022 conducted an extensive site visit of the Campus at the Antiochian Village in Ligonier Pennsylvania to assess the schools submitted Self Study Report. During this visit ATS conducted in-depth interviews of the AHOS President, Dean, Faculty, Staff, Students, Alumni, Board Members, staff, and Archdiocese leaders. These meetings were the final steps for ATS to assess AHOS’ readiness for accreditation and for the ATS evaluators to prepare their recommendations for the June 14, 2022 Business meeting of ATS, at which time a vote will take place on the Antiochian House of Studies request for full accreditation.

In addition to the Saint Stephens Course, the Antiochian House of Studies offers the following Degree Programs of Studies.
