If you encountered problems, or have not yet begun your application, we ask that you proceed as follows until we have completed the update.

While our two Master’s degrees share portions of the application process in common, there are several important program-specific requirements. Please carefully review the application process for your program below:

For MTh in Applied Orthodox Theology, a complete application consists of the following:
o Completed Application Form
o Recent full-face photograph of applicant
o Brief autobiography with an emphasis on church activities
o Statement of the reason for application to the program
o Evidence of successful completion of an accredited baccalaureate degree
o Letter from the applicant’s pastor; or FOR ALL CLERGY, a letter from the applicant’s bishop or pertinent ecclesiastical authority
o Non-refundable application fee of $75 (seventy-five U.S. dollars), payable by check or money order to Antiochian House of Studies (AHOS) and mailed under separate cover, as listed below.

For MTh in Pastoral Care & Counseling, a complete application consists of the following:
o Completed Application Cover Sheet
o Recent full-face photograph of the applicant
o A 2,500-word autobiographical sketch capturing important dimensions of one’s own personal journey (theological, psychological, spiritual, social/familial, etc.)
o Statement of the reason for application to the program
o Evidence of successful completion of an accredited baccalaureate degree
o Letter from the applicant’s pastor, or FOR ALL CLERGY, a letter from the applicant’s bishop or pertinent ecclesiastical authority
o Non-refundable application fee of $75 (seventy-five U.S. dollars), payable by check or money order to Antiochian House of Studies and mailed under separate cover, as listed below.
